1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Mëso Anglisht application (com.tloshi.fjalori) or the Mëso Gjermanisht application (com.tloshi.fjalori.de) ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The App helps Albanian speakers learn English or German through lessons, phrases, grammar, stories and games. It works offline and is free of charge, paid for by advertising.

2.1 Service Features

• Learning content in categories, with Albanian translations
• Progress, XP, streaks and bookmarks, stored on your device
• Offline access to the content the App has downloaded
• New content downloaded in the background when you are online
• Optional sign-in with Google or Apple, where offered, to keep your progress across devices

3. User Accounts

3.1 No Account Needed

The App needs no account. Where the App offers sign-in with Google or Apple and you use it, you are responsible for the Google or Apple account you sign in with.

3.2 Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account and its data at any time from the App (Profile or Settings, "Delete account") or as described on Delete your account. Without an account, uninstalling the App removes all its data from your device.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Upload malicious code or harmful content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Scrape or extract data from the App without permission
• Use the App to distribute spam or unsolicited content

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Our Content

All content provided through the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, and software, is the property of Mëso Gjuhët or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

5.2 User-Generated Content

Any data you input or create within the App (such as favorites, progress, and personalized settings) remains your property. By using the App, you grant us a license to store and process this data to provide our services.

5.3 Accuracy

We check the learning content with care, but we cannot guarantee that every translation or example is free of errors. Tell us about a mistake at the address below.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6.1 Data Storage

• Your progress, bookmarks and settings are stored on your device
• They are stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) only if you sign in, to keep them across devices

7. Price and Advertising

The App is free. It shows advertising from Google AdMob: banners, and full-screen ads at natural breaks such as the end of a lesson or a game. The App sells nothing and takes no payments.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

8.1 Service Availability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8.2 Educational Purpose

The App is designed for educational purposes. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or language proficiency levels.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

9. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services. Your use of them is also subject to their own terms:

• Google AdMob and the Google User Messaging Platform (advertising and consent)
• Firebase by Google: Analytics, Crashlytics, Firestore, Cloud Storage and Authentication
• Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple, where offered
• Your device's text-to-speech engine for read-aloud

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms.

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App will cease immediately
• We may delete your account and data
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Albania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be resolved through the appropriate courts in Albania.

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer of the App regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
